iPhone imap email 'unable to move message to trash'

Do you keep getting an error message 'unable to move message to trash' when trying to delete read emails on your iPhone ? If so we have a solution for you in your imap settings ...

Step 1. Go to settings

Step 2. Mail,contacts,calendars settings

Step 3. Select affected imap email account

Step 4. Go to advanced (may need to click the email account again on some phones then advanced)

Step 5. Click on imap path prefix and write INBOX in capitals

Step 6. Go click done or go back and click done

Now exit out of settings and re open your mail and tadaaa you can now delete your emails , enjoy .
